CADD Designer – Sheet Metal Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CADD Designer with proven expertise in sheet metal design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, preparing technical drawings, and supporting product development with a focus on sheet metal components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
CAD Modeling: Develop 2D drawings and 3D models of sheet metal parts and assemblies using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
Design Documentation: Prepare accurate technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications for manufacturing.
Sheet Metal Fabrication: Apply knowledge of sheet metal processes (bending, stamping, welding, laser cutting) to ensure manufacturability.
Tolerance Analysis: Perform dimensional checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to refine designs.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest design optimizations to reduce cost, improve performance, and enhance durability.

Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in sheet metal design.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of GD&T, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
